OUR VISION

    getting to know us

All of our staff are a part of Reliant. Reliant (formerly Great Commission Ministries) is the missionary sending organization that works in partnership with our church.  Reliant mobilizes missionaries to work in local churches and ministries for the purpose of evangelism, discipleship and church planting. Reliant trains, employs and serves missionaries as they raise a team of supporters for their ministry.

Reliant was founded in 1989, and today employs nearly 400 missionaries who work to expand God’s kingdom in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Reliant missionaries work in over 100 churches or ministries and 15 countries.

    Reliant

h2o Church is designed for college students & the city of Austin.  We're not huge or flashy. We're a family. We’re a community of broken people trying to follow Jesus, love God and love people. h2o is a place where people can belong and do life together, regardless of where they’re at in their spiritual journey - longtime follower, new believer, searching, or a skeptic.

We dream of God doing big things. We dream of lives transformed.  We dream of tight-knit communities where lifelong friendships are forged. We dream of having Dialogues going on all over Austin. We dream of impacting the city with the life-changing power of a relationship with Jesus. We dream of meeting the needs of the poor and the marginalized.

Here are three of the main ways to connect with h2o Church...

    Sunday Worship Gathering

Sunday evenings from 501p-6ish we gather at the Seminary of the Southwest for our Sunday service. It's a place where anyone connected to h2o Church, or just checking us out, can come together for teaching, music, and prayer. It's simple; it's laid back; and it's all about Jesus. If you have any questions, contact h2o Pastor Matt Moore, matt@h2oaustin.org.

    Dialogues

Dialoges are the heart and soul of h2o. They're places to belong and connect with people.  Each week, we get together and discuss the intersection of the Scripture and life.  Outside of that time, we get together and hang out in Austin. We've got a Campus Dialogue for UT students, and a City Dialogue that meets in East Austin for grad students, grads, & professionals..

    Re:Action

Re:Action stands for Regarding Action, and it's h2o Church's service community. Every month we partner with a

non-profit in Austin to do something about the physical brokenness that exists in the nearly 2 million people in the greater-Austin area. We want to be a church that represents Jesus by taking action and meeting both spiritual needs and phyiscal needs.
